This 727 was acquired by UTA Guinee in two weeks before this capture and retained the basis of its American Airlines livery, having been delivered new to them in July 1977 as N865AA and making its last revenue flight in October 2001. In early 2003 it became YA-FAK with Ariana and briefly 3D-FAK before 3D-GDO. Just five days after the photo, on Christmas Day 2003 it was written off, crash landing onto the beach after clipping buildings on take-off from Cotonou in Benin bound for Beruit. It was overloaded with passengers and the high temperature meant that the runway was too short

Seen at SHJ as ST-SRA in basic Aeroflot colours with no titles in December 1999 then with Elisra Airlines in May 2003. To Bentiu Air Transport by December that year as per this photo and seen with additional Benair titles on right side only. Last noted in Sudan in 2017

Built in 1980 as an An-26B, delivered to Aeroflot's West Siberia division and transferred to Aerokuznetsk in March 1994. Seen at Bangkok as EX-003 in November 2002, operated by Aerovista but all-white with no titles at this stage. Reregistered ST-JAC by November 2003 and in full scheme with small Irkutsk Aircraft Repair Plant 403 titles on nose. Seen at Khartoum in March 2006 in AZZA colours, n/t and a year later with African Union Mission in Sudan. Thought to have become 7718 with the Sudanese AF in 2013. Destroyed at KRT April 2023 during fighting between different factions of the military

Built in 1981, delivered to Aeroflot's Central Region at Kursk and transferred to Kurskavia in March 1994 as RA-26082, going to Aerocom in 2003. Became ER-AFL in December 1999 with Central Airways, reregistered EK-26443 in 2007. To Amurskiye Avialinii as RA-26082 in 2009, then KAPO Avia. Severely damaged 3rd January 2015 on a leg from Magadan to Mirny while positioning from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski to Nizhnevartovsk when the crew tried to take off without the clamps on the stabiliser having been removed. Unable to lift off, nose and right gear collapsed. Last noted derelict in 2021

Built at Ulan-Ude in 1969 and delivered to Aeroflot's Magadan division as CCCP-47183, transferred to Kolymaavia in February 1995. First reported with Inter Congo at Brazzaville in May 2002, still as RA-47183. Registered to SD Group in May 2003, with Trans Air Congo as EX-041 by late 2004, then registered XU-U4A to PMT Air in April 2006. W/o on 25th June 2007 on a flight from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville when it crashed near the Bokor mountains

Damaged beyond repair on 24th February 2007 when when crash landed at destination on a flight from Khartoum to El Geneina, Sudan, the cargo of weapons and ammunition being salvaged. Seen being broken up in 2007, remains still there in 2011
