Of the six Merchantman freighters flown by Air Bridge over the 80s and early 90s, this is the only one that went on to be operated in full Hunting Cargo colours. Wfu at EMA 2.95, broken up 5.97 and nose to East Midlands Aeropark

Taken on charge by the RAF in 1960 as XM473, went to No 1 SoTT at Halton as 8974M and later up to Norwich for training use by Air UK apprentices who added the fake marks 'G-TINY' (real reg later used by a Zlin). Moved to a Bedford college and now with an ex-military aircraft dealership near Ipswich

Resplendent in her new colours, only a year later this one of a pair of DC-10s reverted to the traditional Nigeria Airways livery in which she was delivered in 7.76. After a long period of storage in poor condition at Lagos, she was finally broken up in mid-2008
