At Ferranti she acquired a non standard nose for testing air pass radar for the Lightning fighter. Saved from the scrapman by Aces High in 1979 and registered as G-DAKS a few days before this photo was taken. Later fitted with a normal nose. Reregistered as N147DC in 1998.
