Classic shape, classic colours. New to LH in 3.67 and bought by ATASCO Leasing in 12.78 as EP-AMU (ntu), becoming OO-TJN and 4X-AGJ before purchase by Transjet in 11.80 as OO-ATJ. To Jet East as N727JE in 1.84 and used by DHL from 8.87, registered N701DH in 8.90. Sold to Cosmos Colombia as HK-4407 in 4.06 and was one of two 727 freighters with this new company, but scrapped (as N727NA) in 2014

Initially intended for Northwest Orient, this DC-8 in fact went to Trans Caribbean as N8780R in 11.61 and then to Eastern in 1.64. Interswede took her for three months (as SE-DCR) in 11.71; she returned to that part of the world with Karair in 6.72. On lease to Cyprus Airways at the time of this shot (pure co-incidence that the last thing I uploaded before this was a Cyprus DC-8), she was wfu at Brussels in 2.85 and scrapped three months later

Originally N1551 with Braniff (red livery) and registered N1134J on acquisition by Mohawk in 9.70. Merged into Allegheny 4.72 and USAir 10.79. Wfu at Las Vegas but ferried to San Antonio and used by fire service from 1994

FAST was Falcon and Sopac Transport, a short-lived third level airline connecting Sydney to the Hunter Valley. VH-RTV went to Fiji in 1985 as DQ-FEA

VH-AAV crashed on February 21, 1980, attempting to return to Sydney Airport after suffering engine failure soon after take off. It was bound for Temora and Condobolin. The airline closed down after the accident.
