TMAC acquired Flying Tiger's N455T as G-ATZI in April 1970 and leased her to BAF in May 1972. Little known in these colours, she was bought by Transvalair as HB-IEN in March 1974 and operated in their smart green/red livery till sold to UAA as 5A-DHJ in Feb 1981. Then to N3951C, N103BB, EL-WLL, TN-AFP and finally 9Q-CTS, crashing at Mbuji Mayi, Congo on 17.2.02

Modern Air Transport had a base at Berlin Tegel and three of their eight Coronados were at LGW for a West Germany-England soccer match that wet day. The 1973 oil crisis was a blow for these thirsty jets, not helped by rules to fly at a fuel-inefficient height of 10,000ft in the Allied air corridors over East Germany. Modern hoped to switch to DC-8s and DC-9s but ceased flying in 1975. N5624 went to Nomads as N990E, then Galaxy. Wfu at FLL in 12.85, to Christ is the Answer in 1990 - obviously not as scrapped 4.91

The sad demise of a Comet, being broken up after Channel Airways went out of business and Dan-Air bought her for spares. Delivered to BEA 18.3.61, leased to Olympic immediately and registered SX-DAO 4.66. Returned to BEA and sold to Channel 4.70, retaining the basic Olympic livery

One of Allegheny's One Elevens acquired in the merger with Mohawk Airlines. This one remained until 1989 when the airline, by now known as US Air, sold it to Gas Air of Nigeria (5N-SKS). It ended up with Kabo Air (5N-KBT) in 1991 and was scrapped by 1999.
