The Tudor 8 was a conversion from Tudor 4 G-AGST and was fitted with four Rolls-Royce Nene 4 turbojets, first flying thus on 6 September 1948. It was demonstrated at that year's Farnborough Air Show. This one-off type was fitted with a tailwheel undercrriage, and was developed into the tri u/c Avro 706 Ashton. VX195 was broken up in 1951. From Avros 60 years ago.

One of only five YL-14's built in 1945 for US Army use. Based on the three-seat J-5 Cub Cruiser. Remainder cancelled and this aircraft, ex 45-55529, sold on the civil market. Current as N14YL. Obtained 60 years ago.

This was the prototype Drover and first flew from Bankstown on 23 January 1948. It was delivered to the Department of Civil Aviation and operated until it crashed in the Coral Sea on 16 April 1952. It is on a photographic sortie over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 20 Drovers were built. Obtained from De Havilland over 50 years ago.
