These helicopters were called (I)UH-1 with the navy and a number ended up in Sweden after their active service life. Serial 228 has been well taken care off, with its cockpit almost complete after all these years, including the trademark orange windows!

It was sold to Sweden after the war and as SE-APW with Svensk Interkontinental Lufttrafik (SILA), which merged into SAS. It wsa operated by the Swedish Air Force until 1983, and went to the Motormuseum in Skokloster the year after. It moved Karlsborg in May 2009.
