Although marked as a USN XR2O-1, this Lockheed 10-A never served in the Navy. Built in 1938 and exported to Australia as VH-ABV and operated by MMA. After WWII reregistered VH-MMD. Returned to U.S. in 1954 and from then through 1975 operated by several entities with reg. N4886V. Reregistered N19HL and stricken from register in 1980. In 1987 Valiant Air Command reregistered it as N19HL. Restoration to flight status was started, but in 2002 the a/c was donated to the NNAM where a static restoration was completed. Currently on display in the main museum building.
