It was the first of six Chinooks leased from the US in 2008 for a medium helicopter requirement during Canada's commitment in Afghanistan. A seventh was later leased to replace 147202 that was shot down and burned out in the resulting forced landing. Returned in 2011, the aircraft were replaced with new CH-147Fs starting in 2013. 147201 was acquired by the National Air Force Museum of Canada in 2016 for display.

This prototype CL-41 Tutor flew with Canadair as CF-LTW-X from first flight in January 1960 until the flight test program ended April 28, 1964. Stored in Montreal, the aircraft was donated to the Canadian Armed Forces in 1970. Mounted on a pole at CFB Portage, the trainer was painted in RCAF Golden Centennairs colors and retroactively given the serial 114000. Pictured at CFB Trenton, it is being restored by the National Air Force Museum to a more original configuration.

This Halifax was based at RAF Tarrant Ruston during WWII for special ops missions. It took off on 24th April 1945 on a flight to resupply Norwegian resistance fighters. This drop was made successfully but she was hit by AA fire and forced to ditch into Lake Mjøsa. All crew members survived but their dingy did not inflate and they were forced to swim in the icy water to shore but, tragically, only the tail gunner made it to safety.

This is actually just a tail shot of this Expeditor as its main fuselage was out of shot to the left and wrapped in tarpaulin, hopefully, to be reassembled sometime for display. The fuselage sections behind right belong to Lockheed 18 Lodestar CF-CEC, parts of which were used in the restoration of Hudson FK466. Photographed in the storage compound at the National Air Force Museum of Canada.

This is former American Airlines Boeing 720 N1304E in service from 1961 - 1971 Then with Middle East Airlines as OD-AFQ until the end of 1985. Pratt & Whitney Canada bought it for use as an engine test bed in January 1986. On April 24, 1945, RAF Halifax NA337 ditched in Lake Mjøsa, Norway after being hit by enemy flak. During the summer of 1995, the Halifax Aircraft Association and volunteers from Canada and Norway raised the bomber from the bottom of the lake. Over the next ten years the aircraft was completely restored. Unveiled at the National Air Force Museum of Canada in Trenton Ont. in November 2005, it is the only complete Handley Page Halifax on display.

This I believe is the prototype Tutor and carried the civil registration CF-LTW-X during its test flying time. It differed from the production airframes mainly by the use of a Pratt & Whitney JT12A engine instead of the Orenda built J85 engine. After retirement it was donated to the RCAF for display and acquired these 'Golden Centenaire' markings, serial and code.
