from my collection, photographer unknown, aircraft was delivered new to Western Airlines in May 1956 as N93112, sold to Slick Airway in mid-1961, in service for Zantop Air Transport from 12/65 until 9/66. With Universal Airlines until 1/70. Sold to Span East Airlines as N614SE, lsd. to Ecuatoriana as HC-AVR in 1971. W/o in Biscayne Bay FL 25/10/73 on a cargo flight for Span East.

Leased from Slick Airways during operation of a relatively short-lived freight scheduled service from Heathrow and Manchester to the USA. The aircraft was owned by Slick from 12.51 until 06.58. Later to Portugal AF as 6704 and N2296B.

Operating a scheduled cargo service from Heathrow via Ringway to the USA. Wears Slicks colours with the temporary titles of Airwork Limited.

Slick Airways operated this DC-6A from new in March 1956 until sale to Eagle Airways in September 1958 as G-APON. It is operating a freight charter for the U.S. Air Force to RAF Burtonwood, Lancashire.

Delivered to Slick on 4 March 1953. Leased to Airwork Ltd (UK) during 1955 for freight schedules from Heathrow and Ringway to the USA. It still wears Slick's colours. Sold to Hawaiian Airlines in January 1958.
