VH-KVY was damaged at Harden, New South Wales, on August 24, 1985, when it came down short of the runway after its left engine failed on approach. Its right engine had already failed in cruise. Fuel mismanagement was blamed.
VH-PYS crashed into the sea off Cairns, Queensland, on January 11, 1978 while target towing for the Australian Navy. It clipped masts on the patrol boat HMAS Bombard, cartwheeling into the sea killing the pilot and winch operator.
