Built in 1918 by Nieuport and General Aircraft Limited of England. Details of its RAF history remain unknown, although it probably served abroad, as did most RAF Snipes. Ex-Royal Flying Corps pilot and actor Reginald Denny imported the aircraft to California in 1926, and it was featured in several movies. Purchased by the Museum in 1964. Last flown in June 1967 during Centennial celebrations at Rockcliffe

Built in 1928. It was purchased in the same year by Brock and Weymouth Incorporated, a U.S.-based company that was acquired by the Aero Service Corporation the following year. The aircraft was used for aerial surveys until the early 1940s. In 1962, the company's founder and president, Virgil Kauffman, donated the aircraft to the Museum. It has been restored in the markings of a Canadian Transcontinental Airways FC-2W2

The exact identity of this Swordfish is unknown, but it was probably manufactured by Blackburn Aircraft Company Limited in Great Britain for the Royal Navy, and shipped to Canada. It was purchased in the early postwar years by farmer Ernest V. Simmons from Tillsonburg, Ontario, who bought a considerable amount of surplus war material, including around eight Fairey Swordfish. One of them was purchased by the Museum in 1965 and assigned a fictitious serial number corresponding to that of a Swordfish flown in Canada during the Second World War.

Built in 1942 in Germany by Erla Maschinenwerk. Crash-landed near Murmansk in August 1942 after aerial combat. After war crudely restored for display in a Soviet museum. In the mid-1990s acquired by Aero Vintage Ltd., a British restoration organization, and refinished in its original colours, leaving original bullet holes. Acquired through exchange in 1999 for one of the Museum's two Messerschmitt Me 163B Komet rocket fighters.

Built in 1933 and registered as NC13464, this Reliant's first owner was William Lear (founder of Learjet Corporation). The aircraft had a number of private American owners and one of them converted the Reliant to floats in 1949. In 1953 it was registered in Canada as CF-HAW by the first of many subsequent Canadian owners. Stored as non-airworthy from 1957 to 1963. Restored to airworthy condition from 1963. Renovation was carried out again in the 1970s. In 1981, Akela Aircraft Repair purchased the aircraft, selling it two years later to the Museum, where it arrived, on floats, in June 1983.

Built in Canada in 1947, this Fox Moth was owned by a number of operators before Maxwell Ward (founder of Wardair Inc., a private Canadian airline company) purchased it in the 1980s. Ward had the aircraft repainted to match the markings of his first Fox Moth that he had bought in 1946 and used for his first company, Polaris Charter Company. The original CF-DJB was destroyed in a crash after a few years of use.

Built in May 1954 for for the U.S. Army as H-25A Army Mule, it was immediately modified (door and winch were installed) for use by the Royal Canadian Navy. The helicopter began its service in June 1954 and was used for search-and-rescue operations and training duties. It was deployed aboard HMCS Labrador. This HUP-3 served for a relatively short time, as it was withdrawn from service in 1964 and purchased by the Museum the following year.

The North Star was a Canadian development of the Douglas C-54/DC-4, with some features of the DC-6. This airframe was manufactured in 1948 by Canadair Limited in Montreal, Quebec and was delivered to the RCAF in March of that year. It spent its entire career with No. 426 Squadron. It is the only surviving North Star. The plane is still undergoing renovation, but so far it doesn't look any better than in previous photos.
