Svensk Flygtjanst performed target towing duties for the Swedish military. In 1964 the aircraft was sold to Britain to become G-ASTL. Now it is preserved in its original Fleet Air Arm markings Z2033 Photo via G. Bouma

An ex RN AEW1 previously operated in Sweden in the role of target towing. The UK reg is faintly visible on the fuselage just forward and below the tailplane. Later flown in the USA as N4277N. Taken during a photoshoot at North Weald in 1990.

Built as FR.1 DT989. Modified to TT.1 at Manchester Ringway for Svensk Flygtjänst and delivered on 28 June 1950. Painted mustard yellow overall. Retired by 1964 and seen in open storage at Arlanda in 1968. Now (2018) under restoration at Duxford.

Firefly TT1 newly converted at Ringway from Royal Navy Firefly FR1 PP392. Delivered to Svensk Flygtjanst at Stockholm on September 12 wearing the firm's mustard yellow colour scheme.

The first of 16 conversions at Ringway to TT.1 target tug standard for Svensk Flygtjanst. Ex DK568. SE-BRA was retired from use in September 1963. Obtained from Faireys many years ago.
