Through the 70s, 80s and 90s, there were regular summer charter flights to Glasgow by LOT to serve a "visiting relatives" market. Equipment was Il-18, then Tu-134/154s, finally 737s. Now the Scotland-Poland market is well served by the big low-cost airlines.

As Air Canada closed down Zip Air and retired former Canadian Airlines' Boeing 737s, they would pull out of Whitehorse in the Yukon and transferred the route to Jazz and their Canadair RJs. Long time Whitehorse, Yukon operator Air North responded by obtaining a couple of 737-200s to keep large jetliner service. This former LOT Polish Airlines 737 was added June 7, 2014 to join two other 737-500s and another was added the following August. .
