April 1984 repainted to the new SAS colours as seen on this photo. January 1988 transferred to Scanair.. December 1988 N790AL Challenge Air Cargo. January 1991 N816AX ABX Air opf Airborne Express, later opf DHL in DHL colours. Ca 2014 wfu after amazing 45 years of flying. Shot from B-pier window ass it is made ready as SK771 for Tel Aviv, one of the most wonderful flights I ever had.

One of the series of interesting summer Sunday Scandinavian charter flights at Stansted in the mid-1980s.

Delivered 1969 to Eastern (N8758), then went 1973 to SAS & Scanair (OY-KTG) until was 1989 converted from PF to F. Challenge Air Cargo become the first cargo airline operating the plane.

Looking smart in the later SAS colours as she makes an easterly departure from LHR, this Super Eight was sold as N790AL in 12.88 and converted to freighter, initially serving Challenge. Then to Airborne Express/DHL as N916AX and Johnsons Air as 9G-RAC in 6.08, grounded by Ghanian CAA at the end of 2013
