First flight March 30th 1965, deliv new to SAS, their 1st DC-8-55 on April 27th 1965 as SE-DBD "Folke Viking". In June 1970 SE-DBD was transfrd to Scanair. October 1979 N721UA, and leased to TAE as EC-DIH in november 1979. Sept 16th 1980 N916R ONA, May 14th 1982 TF-FLB Icelandair (leased from ONA in basic ONA colours). January 15th 1986 TF-FLB Icelandair, 1987 TF-FLB repainted to FI colours and named "Sudurfari". 02-1988 5N-AWE Kabo Air, converted to freighter. Later 6N-OCM, 5N-MKE, 9G-MKE, 9T-TDA, 9Q-CAQ and 9T-TCN. wfu at Kinshasa 2018. Seen repainted at gate. Shot through Terminal window

slide scan from the NK collection. - This DC-8 was reported as 9T-TCN with the Air Force of Congo (Kinshasa), still active as late as 2018. It was again noted at Kinshasa in 2020, this time believed to be in storage.

Basic last Overseas National Airways - ONA colours

ex Scandinavian Airlines (SE-DBD), ex ONA Overseas National Airways (N916R), ex Icelandair (TF-FLB), ex Kabo Air (5N-AWE). Over to MK Airlines in March 1995. Re-registered 9G-MKE in May 1996. To the Congolese Airforce (9T-TDA) in March 2005. Re-registered 9T-TCN in 2011. Reported stored nowadays.

Became N721UA, EC-DIH, N916R, TF-FLB, 5N-AWE, 5N-OCM, 5N-MKE, 9G-MKE, 9T-TDA, 9Q-CAQ, 9T-TCN. Presumely still flying in 2021!

Ex Overseas National N916R, registered TF-FLB 15th Jan 1986 and became 5N-AWE with Kabo Air 4th Feb 1988
