The sole Miles Student. Sold by Miles Dufon to Discovery (R&D) Ltd in February 1976, remaining at Shoreham . To G-MIOO (Miles 100) in August 1984 for Aces High. To Sandy Topen June 1991 to November 1996 then back to Aces High. Cancelled as PWFU in March 2009. The fuselage survives with the Museum of Berkshire Aviation.

In 1953 the Miles brothers decided to design and build a prototype jet trainer which would be much less costly than the Jet Provost, then under consideartion for the RAF. The M.100 Student was built as a private venture and, owing to the limited resources of the company, construction took a considerable time. As with many Miles designs the Student included a number of unusual features for its time, but it was May 1957 before it flew and too late to be a contender for the RAF contract. The frame has carried the previous registration G-APLK and RAF test serial XS941.

On static display at the 1974 Hatfield Open Day. The sole example of this Miles design initially intended as a two-seat side by side military trainer, but which lost out to the Jet Provost and, after trials, was never accepted by the RAF in any form. Housed at Glasgow for a time but rarely flew. Re-registered as G-MIOO and moved to Duxford, where it was substantially damaged in a take off accident in 1985. The fuselage survives with the Museum of Berkshire Aviation.

Registered to F.G.Miles Limited at Shoreham (EGKA) and intended as a military jet trainer. That did not happen and consequently this was the only example built. In 1984 it was acquired by Aces High and re-registered G-MIOO. Cancelled as withdrawn in 2009.

Light jet trainer prototype powered by a Turbomeca Marbore engine. Tested by the RAF as XS941 but not ordered. Now in a museum near Reading, Berkshire.
