This Fishbed-D, the all-weather interceptor version, was built in Moscow in 1964 and flew with the Czechoslovak AF until retirement in 1989 and handover to the museum at Prague-Kbely. The frame now resides stored/preserved behind the Staré Aerovka museum at Letňany.
Like several aircraft at the Pacific Air Museum, this MiG-21 wears fake markings. It was 1304 with the Czechoslovak air force before being sold to a US collector as N5192Y. The markings worn at the museum are those of the aircraft of Vietnam War ace Nguyen Van Coc.
