This 1964 C172 was one of a batch of sequentially-registered F models imported new into Australia. This one was originally N8795U, but not for long. It's seen here looking good at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.
The brand spanking apron for civil aviation of the military airport of Salinas. Placed right at the beach, this airport is very scenic and is in the middle of the pleasant beach town Salinas itself. The blue plane in the background is the very first LSA to visit this apron and terminal.
