Owned by Wings and Rotor Museum at French Valley this early model of the UH-1B has recently been restored for flying and made its first public appearance at Aviation Nation 2007. The Huey is painted in the early 60's Army scheme similar to N832M. The history of this heli is still in research. Since it is such an early model its combat history may be difficult to find since the Army started keeping accurate records in 1966 only.

This UH-1B is currently on display at the Botanical Garden of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The helicopter was been abandoned for many years on a piece of land in the same city. According to some locals, the helicopter was left behind by US troops during the second US intervention in the Dominican Republic in 1965. I don't have much information on this, so if anyone knows anything more, I'd love to hear it.
