Built in 1953 as US Army 53-4755, it went to the Belgian Army where it was taken on charge in Oct-1954 as L77. Around 1963 this was changed to OL-L77. Struck off charge it became D-EKKK in Jul-1971. In Jun-1981 it was registered OO-KKK. On 16-Oct-2011 it was destroyed in a crash 450m from the Verviers-Theux airfield, just after take-off from runway 06 for a local flight. The two persons on board were killed. The cause of the accident was found to be an improper take-off setting with stabilizer trim in full nose-up position causing a stall during initial climb. Built in 1951 as US Army 51-15562, it went to the French Army where it was taken on charge in Feb-1952 as 18-1562. In Dec-1967 it was struck off charge. In Sep-1968 it was registered OO-HMS, but already in Oct-1968 it was reregistered OO-FLW.
Built in 1954 as US Army 53-4818 it went to the Belgian Army in Aug-1959 as L144. In 1963 it was reregistered as OL-L12. In 1970 it was struck off charge and then registered OO-LOT in Jan-1971. Those ex-military Super Cubs are also known as PA-19, as is painted here on the nose.
