The fuselage was lengthened by 51 cm (20 in), including a 30 cm (12 in) stretch of the cabin. 41 examples were built in the late 1980s. Porsche cancelled the PFM 3200 after 80 engines, however. Holding for D-KSGB. This is a nice photo spot on the south side of the Rwy 24 threshold at the Lippewiesen (Lippe meadow). Aircraft tend to come in very low and there is no fence. The sign says 'airfield - entry by unauthorised persons prohibited!'

Built in 1970, still active in 2010 but now guarding the friendly airfield at Hamm, which is close to the city centre - note the Pauluskirche. The official history of the airfield on the north bank of the Lippe River starts in 1949, which I found hard to believe. I did find that the site was an emergency landing ground already in 1927, but the Luftwaffe does not seem to have used it.
