Sometime dating a slide comes from unexpected sources. The 'These Day Tour' brought Bon Jovi to the Netherlands for two concerts on 8 and 9 June 1996. So the plane in the background narrowed the search for the date of the DC-4.

Delivered to South African Airways as ZS-AUA in 1946. To the SAAF as 6901 in 1966 then to Aero Air as ZS-NUR in 1995 and the Dutch Dakota Association as PH-DDS in 1996, Reregistered as ZS-AUA in 1993. Returned to South Africa by 2004. With the South African Airlines Museum at Rand by 2010.

Built in 1946 and delivered to South African Airways in March 1946. To The South African Air Force between January 1966 - 1968 as 6901 and between 1970 and August 1995 as 6902. To Aero Air as ZS-NUR. To The Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) in January 1966, keeping its South African callsign. In May 1996, the aircraft was reregistered PH-DDS. The sound of four roaring Twin Wasps could often be heard at Amsterdam during the mid and late 1990s, when DDA's Skymaster ZS-NUR (later PH-DDS) in 1950s KLM colours took to the air again. Unfortunately they were forced to dispose of this magnificent aircraft, due to very rigid regulations imposed by the Dutch aviation authorities. It departed for South Africa in late 2002 (as ZS-AUA). By 2017 it was still there, but hadn't flown since 2008/2009.
