This 154 was built in December 1996 and delivered to the Czech Government as OK-BYZ but transferred to the Czech AF as '1016' in December 1998. The frame was wfu in November 2007, parked up at Kbely but transported to the Letecké Muzeum Kunovice in September 2016. Taken over the fence as the museum is closed for the winter season but the low sun presented an opportunity too good to miss.

This is the last of four IL-62s delivered for Czech Governmemt service. Having been delivered in June 1986, it was still new when photographed visiting Vancouver. Eventually ending up as RA-86590 with Mavial - Magadan Airlines, withdrawn in 2007 and broken up by 2011.
