Lifting off from Lake Spenard. Built in 1961. Served with Kenmore Air Harbour Inc, Kenmore, WA from 1977 until 1985. Joined Rainbow River Lodge in Alaska in 1988. Substantially damaged in an aborted glassy water landing at Crosswind Lake, AK in 1995. Joined Ptarmigan Air at Anchorage, AK in 1996. Substantially damaged again in 2002, impacting tundra covered terrain during takeoff, possibly in icing conditions, from a remote lake near Bethel, AK. From 2004 with Talkeetna Air Taxi, engaged in glacier flightseeing.

This 1961 Beaver was registered to Kenmore Air 1977 - 85, but I never saw it with titles. The aircraft moved to Alaska in 1988 and is current still registered N144Q at the time of uploading.

Fitted with skis for landing on ice. Built in 1961 and registered as N144Q. Still current on the register in 2022.

N144Q was delivered in Mar-1961. It kept flying under the same registration, although it had two severe accidents, 08-Aug-1995 and 20-Sep-2002. Both times it was repaired. Around 1997 it was modified with a larger window behind the door, and by 2004 this was replaced by two large windows. As such it is still current in 2022.
