This MiG-23MLD (NATO reporting name FLOGGER-K) was operating from Altes Läger (Jüterbog) with 833 IAP as part of the 16th Air Army (16.VA) in former East Germany.

The Flogger-C is the two-seat, training version of the MiG-23. The Hungarian Air Force originally introduced three MiG-23UB and then inherited two more after the end of the Socialist era when Soviet troops withdrew. This example is now on display at the super RepTár Szolnoki Repülőmúzeum.

This is the rough-field variant of the main production version Su-7B (S-22) and this example is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

The Yak-23 'Flora' first flew on 8th July 1947 and proved very manoeverable. However, it was soon apparent that the straight-wing design made it inferior to the newly developed swept-wing fighters. This example is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

A straight-winged stop-gap jet fighter, the Yak-23 Flora was disposed of to the Soviet Union's allies as the MiG-15 became available. Pilots liked the little Yak, however.
