Beautiful dawn sunlight!

This Cherokee was originally registered, new, to the Royal Victorian Aero Club in "their" block on 25 January 1967. Long since disposed of, it's now registered to a private owner at Kyneton.

This 1976 model Citabria was imported new into Australia and registered on 1 September that year. Currently based in Victoria, it's seen here taxying after an 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' charity fly-in.

'Que Sera' - get it? Winner of the 2005 Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia Grand Champion trophy at the Annual Fly-in, this aircraft was registered new in Australia in 1957. Currently based on a private strip near Romsey, Vic.

Backtracking on Runway 14, this Gravel Truck had just done a practice for its impressive display at the Wide Bay International Airshow in the capable hands of 'Fish'. Good work boys! This aircraft was delivered to the RAAF on 29 April 1964 and served with 35 Sqn, in Vietnam. Later allocated to 38 Sqn., it has seen service around the world including Sumatra, Kashmir, Srinagar, Vanuatu and East Timor.

'Alice Springs' on short final for Runway 34. It was built for Qantas, making its first flight on 6 May 2005 under the Boeing flight-test rego N1786B. It was registered to Qantas as VH-VYE on 10 May 2005.

This 1979 Skylane was registered new in Australia as VH-UZK(2) on 5 June that year. It's been repainted in a new scheme with Club titles since I last photographed it at Bundaberg in August 2007. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

Although it has a CJ_ rego, this 1978 Skywagon was only registered in Australia on 4 June 1992. It was formerly N2526K and is currently based in Wagga. It was at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. The orignal VH-CJF was a Cessna Agwagon.

The afternoon arrival from Brisbane backtracking on Runway 14. This aircraft was test-flown as C-FERP before being registered in Australia on 1 February 2006. It was flown to Australia via Japan a few days later.

This remarkable and unique homebuilt Panther replica is powered by a converted General Electric T58 turboshaft. It's seen here airborne for a display at the Wide Bay International Airshow.
