This has to be the first of the long fuselage Merlin/Metro II family and here visiting Perimeter Aviation while on a sales tour. Early Merlin IV are notable in that they have round windows. Later they had the 'curvy rectangular' ones as per the Metro II for production commonality. The registration N5291M was later used on c/n TC-202E and maybe it is this same airframe as the 'E' indicates a switch from Merlin to Metro on the line. Since TC-001E would have looked odd plus it would need major work to change the windows, maybe they went to the later number '202'. Just a theory.

This used to be a fixture at LFPN when registered to Christian Dior and I saw it there as such in 1964. By this time it was based in Michigan, then converted to turbine in 1972. From 1980 to 1983 it flew with Air BC as C-GHUM and current in 2021 as VH-PPT.

If you were using a photocopier at work back then there's a good chance the wrapped reams of paper had the same logo as on this Learjet. It was sold on and eventually ended up in Venezuela to be replaced by a Learjet 35, then a Falcon 50 with the same registration.

I badly wanted to own one of these muscular looking twins and you can see why from the shot. This one was built in 1956 and cancelled from the register on 10 May 2012. In the 1990s I took home boxes of pristine Twin Bonanza technical manuals from where I worked, just before they made it to a land-fill. I sold them to a dealer in the USA so they were saved and I made some money in the process.

Made in 1968 and wrecked after the pilot lost control in IMC near Seguin/TX on 15 October 1976. Although registered as a 17-30, it has the main gear doors and long spinner of the 17-30A Super Viking which first came out in 1969. Possibly a field upgrade or may have gone back to the factory for re-manufacture.

This King Air with unusual bare metal cowlings and nacelles is parked outside Beechcraft dealer Perimeter Aviation's hangar. Still visible on the hangar are the old painted letters for Bristol Aviation Division which dates back to early post-WW-II years. Bristol (from the UK) took over the then McDonald Brothers who had made hundreds of Anson V aircraft for the RCAF during the war and were in danger of going bust in the post-war slump. Eventually the name was changed to Bristol Aerospace and that is a whole other success story.

Originally delivered to Northeast Airlines, but at this time it was registered to Super-Valu Stores. Built in 1955 and still current 2020. The 'INA' initials must have had a significance at one time, but since the FAA doesn't have history (other than dead wood) on its web site it will have to remain a mystery.
