Fitter-K 8001 was previously stored at Deblin but is now part of this very interesting museum, which in the main building is mainly dedicated to the famous RAF squadron but with several nice exibits outside.

The Apache AH Mk.1 was retired from British Army service in 2024 and is being replaced by the AH-64E model. This Mk.1 Afghanistan veteran is the latest addition to the exhibits at this museum and is the first Apache on display in Europe.

This Huey was operated by the 601 Combat Aviation Battalion and was one of six deployed to the Falklands prior to the war. Upon capture, AE-409, AE-413 and AE-422 in were used by the British Army to ferry freight and deliver mail around the islands. The first two were painted white by the Argentinians for use in casualty evacuation and AE-409 still retains this white colour as it is now on display at this very interesting museum.

This Beaver is actually a composite of XP822 and XP815. XP822 was delivered to the RAF in November 1961 but crashed in September 1970 during take-off at Sharjah. XP815 was written-off at Vólos, Greece in September 1962 when the top window sunblind fell down over pilots face during take-off, causing a loss of vision and subsequent crash. Parts of both airframes were used to reconstruct this airframe, now on display outside the Museum of Army Flying.

This L-39 was TOC by the Czexchoslovak AF in July 1993 and transferred over to the Slovak AF in January 1993. It was SOC sometime in 2002 and the tail section is now on display in one of the hangars at this super museum. Note the port side is cut-away.

This CL-44 was originally delivered to Flying Tigers as N447FT in August 1961. The plane went on to fly with Transmeridian Air Cargo (as N447FT), British Cargo Airlines (N447FT), Heavylift Cargo Airlines (EI-BND), Buffalo Airways (EI-BND), AZAL and Baku Express (both as 4K-GUP) before becoming 9G-LCA in August 1999. The plane was first stored at Smyrna (MQY) and ferried to BOH in December 2002 for a major overhaul. In December 2006 the plane rejoined Heavylift and was registered RP-C8023 but stored due to regulatory issues. It has since been re-registered N447FT but with an uncertain future.
