Unmarked but this FGR4 was assigned to 3(F)sq during Anatolian Eagle 2022. The Typhoon made its first flight on 9 July 2015 and was delivered to the RAF on 18 February 2016. The pilot is here waving to the camera, with its hand as well as with the massive air brake.

Delivered to the USAF on 14 November 1980 and flown over to Soesterberg's 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron in December 1980. It remained assigned to the Wolfhounds up to 23 June 1992 when it returned to CONUS. The 95th FS at Tyndall was its new owner. On 16 April 2010, the Eagle was moved for storage at AMARC with inventory code AAFH0243. In 2024, it was still there.

On its way to the Volkel runway during a shooting camp. This dual seat Hornet carried 439 Sabre-Toothed Tiger squadron marking on its tail. In February 1987, a fuel bowser hit the Hornet on the ground. The aircraft was repaired and on 4 May 1987 it made a test flight. During that flight, the Hornet went into a unexpected and uncontrolled tailspin over Renchen (Germany). The pilots were not able to recover it and decided to eject. The Hornet was destroyed, both pilots were safe.

FMS serial 83-1199 and Fokker built F-16A Block 15 (Fokker c/n L-209), was accepted by the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 14 February 1986 and delivered on 17 Fwebruary 1986. The brand-new aircraft is seen here at Volkel. Its homebase was Twente air base in the east of the Netherlands. J-199 was eventually sold to Jordan as 247. It was flown over to Jordan in February 2018

F-16C Block 50, delivered in 1999

Zero nine blue and a sister aircraft (33 blue) were the highlights of this years Anatolian Eagle exercise. The two Frogfoots are assigned to the Su-25 Eskadrilya, based at Kyurdamir air base, west from the capital Baku (Azerbaijan). 09 blue carried 37 combat mission marks on the left side of the nose, most probably acquired during the Nagorno Karabakh 2020 war.

FMS serial 81-0917, was handed over to Pakistan in February 1985 and upgraded to F-16A MLU some 20 years later. Here it is seen, flying with 11(MR)sq Arrows, starting another Anatolian Eagle mission over Turkey.

F-16C Block 40 with FMS serial 89-0028 was delivered to Turkey on 19 September 1990.

The 23rd Tactical Air Support Squadron has a long history dating back to 15 Jan'41 when it was established as the 76th Bombardment Squadron (Medium). It became the 23d Antisubmarine Squadron (Heavy) on 3 Mar'43 with B-25s, re-designated as 23d Troop Carrier Squadron on 21 Nov'44 and inactivated on 7 Sep'46. Activated as the 23d Helicopter Squadron on 9 Jul'56 with H-21s and inactivated on 8 Jan'58. On 15 Apr'66 is was activated again as the 23d TASS with O-1s and O-2s as Forward Air Controllers over Vietnam. Again activated and reactivated, eventually equipped with A-10s. Currently as 23rd FTS.

Stored at AMARC with inventory code AC0140 on 16 October 1992 and left the depot in January 2016 and was scrapped by HVF West at Tucson.
