Some hour drive from Kabul, a real massive scrapyard of the Afghan Army was found. Only a few sandy paths were cleared from land mines and other booby traps. I was able to drive around this pile of metal, but it was impossible to leave the sandy path. This photo shows an Antonov nose section, MiG-21s, a Mi-24/-35 part, but I couldn't reach these wreckages for a further inspection of types and construction numbers. What a mess...

After cancellation from the civil register the aircraft was handed over to the Farnborough Air Science Trust and is now preserved in the RAF Museum Cosford again as Hungarian AF 503.
