In July of 2014, Swiss foundation Helimission bought this helicopter to be operated in Indonesia. LN-OAC is seen here just prior taking off for its ferry flight to Trogen Heliport (LSXT), Switzerland, where Helimission's international headquarter is located. After receiving a 12 year inspection and a fresh livery, it was briefly registered as N356HM (Helimission Inc, USA) before getting its current registration PK-HCG.

This AStar started life as a Lycoming LTS101 powered AS350D and was later re-engined with a Turbomeca Arriel to become a AS350BA and later an AS350B-2. It was registered in Canada on two occasions (as C-FHNC and C-FBCU) and is now registered N517PA. It was photographed at the West 30th Street Heliport in Manhattan in July 1, 1989. The inscription on the building roof behind the helicopter says "Air Pegasus VIP Heliport."

During the summer, the Generalitat de Catalunya contracts helicopters and single engine air tankers to fight wildfires throughout the region. Some of these are based at airports and others at heliports located at fire stations in rural areas. The Parc de Bombers de Manresa Heliport (located near the junction of highway C-55 and C-16C) was the base for two TAF AS350s in the summer of 2012. AS350B3 EC-JEA is seen here with external basket for carrying tools and a Canadian-made SEI Bambi bucket attached to its cargo hook for dropping water on wildfires.

Heli Bernina, founded in 1985 by Hansueli Baerfuss (a swiss helicopter pioneer) and Leo Caminada, is a small but successful helicopter operator based at Samedan Airport. In 1991, the company took delivery of the first AS-350B2 helicopters painted in an all yellow livery. This color became HB's "brand" and has been applied to all new AS350B3's. HB-ZIS shown here was built in 2008 and flew for Heli Bernina till June 4, 2013, when it was sold to fellow swiss operator Air Glaciers based in Lauterbrunnen. Unfortunately, it crashed on July 14, 2015, killing the pilot, the sole person on board.
