Although 22953 served with the Yugoslav Air Force and was withdrawn from use in 1991, it carries the markings of the Serbia and Montenegro Air Force that came into use in 1992. It was later brought to the storage area of the Muzej Vazduhoplovsta Beograd where it was first noted in Jun-1997. To the left of it is NL-16 16158, to the right is IJ-22 25719, and from back to front are IJ-22 24415 and 24401, J-21 24213 and the fin of J-20 30155.

L-15 is the Yugoslav Air Force designation for the MiG-21M. This version served from 1970 to 1996. Serial 22805 flew first with the Yugoslav Air Force, and continued with the Serbia-Montenegro Air Force from 1992. After its withdrawal it was brought to the storage area of the Muzej Vazduhoplovsta Beograd where it was first noted in Jun-1997.

From 1995 it was placed on display at the Aeropark Brandenburg, Diepensee, Berlin but came to this very friendly museum in March 2001.
