VH-FHB was first registered in Australia in January 1976 but is shown in this photograph after its return from Papua New Guinea where it had been P2-FHB. It was damaged in 1984 and was off the register until 1991 being repaired. In 1993 it was sold in the US as N52BH.

Wales Bank and Radio 2SM were sponsors for this surf rescue helicopter registered in September 1976. VH-FHF became VH-PHF in November 1999.

VH-CPA was registered from March 1976 until it was reregistered VH-TFH in March 1986.

VH-CEC was damaged on July 29, 1983, taking off from a helipad used by NBN in the Newcastle suburb of Wickham. It was not repaired.

Jayrow Helicopters continued in business in 2017. VH-BLI suffered two accidents in 1979 and 1987. The latter at Coen, Queensland resulted in it being written off.

In 1977 the New South Wales Police leased VH-BHS as a trial to re-establish the Police Air Wing, which had existed between 1946 and 1950 with an Avro Anson. The trial proved a success and in 1978 the NSW Police bought its own JetRanger. VH-BHS would later be lost when it crashed into the sea off Townsville, Queensland, on September 6, 2008.

New at the time the pictures was taken, VH-AJI spent three years in New Zealand as ZK-HNX from 1976 and a couple of years off the register recovering from accident damage in the 1980s. In 1998 it was reregistered VH-YAM.
