ET.61 from Orleans-Bricy

This modified C-160D (once German Air Force 50+28) entered Turkish Air Force service in the early 70s as ETI-036. It was assigned to 221 Filo during the late 80s and received the so-called Gören-1 update somewhere in the 90s. This Gören project covers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) modifications (different nose and multiple antennae on top and underneath the fuselage as well as an Aselsans electro optic Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR). The aircraft serves as a dedicated Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) aircraft. There are 4 such aircraft in Turkish service.

I guess they did not see those aircraft very often there.

In special markings celebrating 55 Years LTG 63. The other side has 60 Years German Air Force markings. This aircraft was flown to Eindhoven AFB on 12 Sep 2016 and placed on display.

C-160NG of ET.02.64 "Anjou" tucked in between the hangars on ASP2 on the eve of Leuchars Airshow. The Transall provided support for the Patrouille de France who were displaying at the show.

In 1984, the French MoD launched a programme to equip the Armée de l'Air with a modern and reliable Signal and Comint (SIGINT/COMINT) collection aircraft to replace the six heavily modified Noratlas aircraft. Two C-160s were taken from the transport inventory, being F216 and F221. These became resp. C-160G-1 and C-160G-2 , both modified with a radome containing a COMINT espionage system under the belly of the aircraft, two pods at wingtips containing the ELINT systems and four antennas on top of the nose. From 1989 the first spionage C-160, now named Gabriel, became operational. Assigned to Escadron Electronique Aéroporté (EEA) 1/54 "Dunkerque"
