Sadly SE-DMA was lost in a terrible accident at Linate on 8 October 2001 after hitting a Cessna Citation which had entered the runway without specific clearance in thick fog. All 110 on board the MD-87, all 4 on board the Citation, and also 4 people on the ground died.
