This 744 was delivered to British Airways in November 1989 and is pictured along with G-BNWN, waiting at BA Engineering to be called into action later in the day. Actually the picture must have been taken at a busy time as this compound is usually quite full with planes. Alas, all good things muct come to an end and G-BNLE was withdrawn from the fleet in October 2014 and ferried to Victorville (VCV), where, at the time of writing is still in one piece.

This ex-united frame went to Polar Air Cargo in March 1995. It was withdrawn from the fleet in March 2002 and stored in Polar colours with titles and logos painted over. It acquired these fake MK colours for an anti-terrorism training exercise. After its completion the markings were painted over and it then became all white. Alas, outside in the Scottish weather took its toll and the frame was rendered unsafe so scrappage followed in September 2017.

From March 1994 the frame flew with Air Hong Kong as VR-HKO and then to Polar in November 1996. It is pictured here undergoing maintenance at the Polar facility at PIK prior to handover as 9G-MKU to MK Airlines a few months later in October. This old 741 was originally delivered to United in August 1970 as N4712U. It then went to Pan Am and flew with them as as 'Clipper Tradewind' until December 1991. Periods with Aeroposta and Kabo Air followed until freighter conversion and delivery to Southern Air Transport in March 1994. The plane was finally re-registered in March 1995 when it went to Polar Air Cargo as N852FT. It was withdrawn from the fleet in March 2002 and used as a training aid/film prop before the Scottish weather rendered it unsafe and scrappage followed in September 2017.

This old 741 was originally delivered to United in August 1970 as N4712U. It then went to Pan Am and flew with them as as 'Clipper Tradewind' until December 1991. Periods with Aeroposta and Kabo Air followed until freighter conversion and delivery to Southern Air Transport in March 1994.
