This Su-25 was operated by 357 OShAP at Brandis. Its c/n remains unknown. One year later, a 21 red was identified at Demmin as 25508110143 but it is unknown whether this is the same aircraft as seen here.

It's a war machine, but the Su-25 looks like a big toy plane to me.

This is a test and development prototype with the manufacturer's designation T8-15 and the code 15 blue. It was used for the testing of the new R195 engine. However, for the Paris Air Show this was replaced by a standard R95Sh engine because the R195 was still secret, and the code was changed to 301 blue which actually was the Le Bourget exhibit code. In 1990 it was converted to a Su-25BM prototype (Sukhoi designation T8BM-2). It later went to the Central Aerodrome Museum at Moscow-Khodynka and when that closed in 2003 it went to the Museum of Technology of Vadim Zadorozhny in Arkhangelskoye.

The only jet fighters of Chad are eight Su-25s, acquired in 2008 from Ukraine. This QAI was first delivered as TT-9AI but later reregistered to QAI. This Frogfoot was heavily damaged during a storm at N'Djamena on 1 July 2017. The aircraft was hangared, but the roof came down.

This 'Frogfoot' is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

This Frogfoot has recently acquired a serial change: previously it was on display at Monino as '66 blue' but this serial has now been changed to '66 red'.
