This early serial number Aerospatiale SA-360C Dauphin (msn 1004) was operating scheduled passenger flights from Manhattan's East 34th Street Heliport in April 1984, probably to JFK. It was probably the first Dauphin imported to the USA by Aerospatiale Helicopter Corp. in Texas since it was already N47284 when displayed at the 1976 Reading Airshow. New York Helicopter, Island Helicopter, and National Helicopter were sister companies. They were all evicted from E34th St. heliport in August 1997 after owing unpaid rent on the heliport they had also managed. Rotorspot says this 360C is preserved.

Ex EC-DYU, PH-SSC, LV-APO, PH-SSC and N3610B. Acquired by the Aviodrome in November 2005.

The only SA365C1 in the PDG fleet, and remarkably, the only airworthy helicopter of its type on the UK register.

Built in 1985, this Dauphin on skids served with the Héli-Union group all its life. In the year 2000, Héli-Union based the heli in Cameroon in Westafrica where it served the offshore oil industry till February 4, 2003, the date it was written off during an accident. Scanned from slide.

Produced in 1971, this aircraft was first registered in the USA as N3610B. Schreiner Airways of the Netherlands, became the next operator and it was registered PH-SSC on April 23, 1981. On April 30, 1982 it went to Argentina were it was registered as LV-APO, while it returned to Schreiner on January 21, 1986. Two months later it was registered as EC-DYU to Helisca of Spain on March 25. Withdrawn from use in 2005, the aircraft was donated on November 11, 2005 to the Aviodrome at Lelystad, by Schreiner Airways. Normally displayed in Schreiner colours with the fake registration PH-SAW, but seen here temporarily painted as the Disney film "Planes" character Blade Ranger.
