This aircraft was destroyed at Old Buckenham Airfield, Norfolk, on 27th October 2007 when, after attempting to land in a crosswind, the pilot attempted ago around but the left wing dropped and impacted the ground causing the aircraft to cartwheel. There was no fire but the aircraft suffered damage to the fuselage, both wingtips and the entire structure forward of the instrument panel. (With thanks to the AAIB accident report). The registration was formally cancelled on 10th April 2008.

All airframe, systems and powerplant servicing was carried out on Lockheed 10, 14 and 18 aircraft plus the DC-3. After WW-II the North Atlantic Air Ferry Service terminal at Dorval/QC became the basis for TCA overseas operations flying the North Star and Constellation. Eventually this became the Air Canada base for all aircraft after the Viscount, which was the final type handled at Winnipeg.
