It visited Hato again for counter narcotics operations in March 2004. Compared to its previous visit it had received a new dark grey paintjob, a huge sharkmouth and badge of the Air Wing, which had adopted the nickname Warlocks.

The apron of San Pedro Sula housed a handful of Sabre 4s of the Honduran air force. FAH-3008 had an accident in 2002, when the ejection seat was accidentally activated, killing two technicians. The aircraft is Canadair built and operated by the RAF as XB827 and the Yugoslav AF as 11079, before it was transferred to Honduras.

Honduras was the first export customer for the very successful Embraer 312 Tucano. FAH-258 was delivered in June 1986 and was retired following an accident on 3 June 2011 when it made an emergency landing in a field. It was moved to the Museo del Aire in Toncontin in April 2020.
