Pictured in near last light of the Potomac River in D.C. The Bell was delivered to US Department Of Interior in May 1999 and acted since within the U.S. Park Police (USPP) Aviation Division and carries Eagle 1 on the front side of the engine bay. The helicopter is used within the law enforcement and Emergency Medical Support (EMS) missions around Washington, D.C.

A Marine One or Two (one = carrying the President, two = carrying vice president) flying over DC. Of course other prominent individuals (i.e. White House cabinet and staff) are able to board the VH-3D too. The white top is one of eleven in service and was pictured over the Potomac River. The VH-3D entered service in 1978 and is expected to be replaced by the VH-92A from 2023.

During a squadron rotation with the RAF 56sq, four Aeronautical Militare F-104S of Grosseto air base were present. Not the very best picture, as it was typical UK weather. This MM6930, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia was delivered in 1978 and got extra fame in 2003 by the 999-Ducati colourscheme. The Sparrow eventually was retired in October 2004, and preserved at Gioia del Colle from March 2018.

During a squadron rotation with the RAF 56sq, four Aeronautical Militare F-104S of Grosseto air base were present. Not the very best picture, as it was typical UK weather. This MM6732, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia, was delivered in 1974 and was eventually placed in storage at Grazzanise from late 2003. Its fuselage was noted seen at the flightline at Grazzanise in late 2005.

Former 5A-BAM and Libyan Arab Air Force serial 8185 (that number is only shown on the right side of the tail), was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 4 June 1973. It served the 2nd Regiment up to Apri 1997. The Jet Ranger was sold as it was cancelled in Maltese register on 22 August 1997. The helicopter became G-DNCN with J.J. Woodhouse Flying Services on 21 November 1997.

Note, the small unusual 1 added to the code. This MM6778, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia The Sparrow was written off at Leeuwarden air base (the Netherlands) on 2 May 2002 during its landing. The aircraft was probably too high duyring its landing attemped, broke in two pieces and came to rest alongside the runway. The pilot escaped with only minor injuries.

Former USAF serial 61-2986 and Italian Army MM61-2986/E.I.25, this Bird Dog was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 4 February 1992. The aircraft served the 2nd Regiment as 9H-ACC untill its registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000. The aircfaft became serial AS9208. It was sold to A.F. Bush in Alberquerque (NM) and became N320DA on 9 January 2001.

Former Guardia di Finanza serial MM80854/GdiF-55 was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 9 June 1992. The helicopter became 9H-ABZ within the 2nd Regiment and its registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 when it became serial AS9214. It was reported withdrawn from use in October 2003, offered for sale in November 2006 and seen partly dismanteld in April 2007. As such it was still at Luqa in 2016, but it current fate is unknown.

Former Luftwaffe AS377, LA106 and 7420, this Bell was transported by a Luftwaffe C-160 to Malta on 29 May 1972 and registered 9H-AAG a few months later. It served the Armed Forces of Malta, Air Squadron and 2nd Regiment until April 1997. The registration was cancelled from the Maltese register on 20 November 1997. It was shipped off in a container for the Aviation Academy in the University of UAE and became an ground instructional airframe at the Dubai Aviation Academy with the fictitious registration A6-BEL; Of note, the construction plate reports it as a AB47J, not AB47G-2 (February 2018).

The fuselage of the aircraft was attached to the tail of MM6936 and the Starfighter was the preserved as MM6939 at Lecce air base (Italy).

The registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and became serial AS9213. It was last seen in operational service in September 2001, after which it was stored at Luqa and offered for sale in October 2003. The Hughes was handed over at Luqa for preservation and display with the GdF on 13 February 2018. It was fully restored as AS9213 and placed in the GdF museum at Pratica di Mare (Italy) on 19 December 2018.

Former USAF 61-2990 and Italian Army MM61-2990/E.I.26, this Bird Dog was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 4 February 1992. It served the 2nd Regiment as 9H-ACD. This registration was cancelled in 1 May 2000 and the Bird Dog became AS9209. The aircaft was sold to Allan E. Jonhson in Stillwater (MN) as N119AJ on 1 March 2001.

This is former Libyan Arab Air Force serial LC2288. It was delivered to ther Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 19 July 1993 and assigned to the 2nd Regiment as 9H-AAV. This registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and the Alouette became serial AS9315. It was modified in 2010 with a new engine, a winch and a new colour scheme. The Alouette 3 was withdrawn from use by 2014.
