Former Libyan Police serial LC2295 was delivered to Malta Air Squadron on 24 December 1992. It was pictured here when the SA316 was under maintenance and awaiting some parts. The Alouette III then served the Air Squadron/2nd Regiment up to April 1997 when it was stored up to late 1999. The civil look-a-like serial was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and the helicopter received the military serial AS9211. It was noted with the Armed Forces of Malta in a new grey colour scheme from September 2011. In late 2021, it was still active with the Air Wing.

Former Guardia di Finanza serial MM80854/GdiF-55 was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 9 June 1992. The helicopter became 9H-ABZ within the 2nd Regiment and its registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 when it became serial AS9214. It served the Armed Forces of Malta, Air Squadron and 2nd Regiment until April 1997. The registration was cancelled from the Maltese register on 20 November 1997. It was shipped off in a container for the Aviation Academy in the University of UAE and became an ground instructional airframe at the Dubai Aviation Academy with the fictitious registration A6-BEL; Of note, the construction plate reports it as a AB47J, not AB47G-2 (February 2018).

This is former Libyan Arab Air Force serial LC2288. It was delivered to ther Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 19 July 1993 and assigned to the 2nd Regiment as 9H-AAV. This registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and the Alouette became serial AS9315. It was modified in 2010 with a new engine, a winch and a new colour scheme.
