Ex-8185/Libyan Air Force. Serial AS7305 was assigned when the Armed Forces of Malta introduced the new serial system on 1 May 2000, but never applied on the helicopter had already been sold.

Following the disbandment of the Task Force, the Helicopter Flight became part of the 1st Regiment, Armed Forces of Malta.

Ex-8185/Libyan Air Force. Serial AS7305 allocated but never applied as helicopter was sold. In company with Bell 47Gs 9H-AAG, 9H-AAF and 9H-AAH.

Former 5A-BAM and Libyan Arab Air Force serial 8185 (that number is only shown on the right side of the tail), was delivered to the Armed Forces of Malta, Malta Air Squadron on 4 June 1973. It served the 2nd Regiment up to Apri 1997. The Jet Ranger was sold as it was cancelled in Maltese register on 22 August 1997. The helicopter became G-DNCN with J.J. Woodhouse Flying Services on 21 November 1997.

At the time the Armed Forces of Malta Helicopter Flight was part of the "Task Force", the main operational unit of the AFM.

Ex-Libyan Air Force serial 8185. Lifting off from its St Patrick's Barracks base. At the time the aviation unit of the Armed Forces of Malta was known as the Helicopter Flight.

Still with its former Libyan military serial 8185 on the nose. The Armed Forces of Malta aviation element was then known as the Helicopter Flight, operating four ex-German AF Bell 47G-2s and this Jet Ranger.

When the Libyan Armed Forces ended their mission in Malta, they left behind a few helicopters. This Jet Ranger was one that was left behind and was eventually taken on strength with the Armed Forces of Malta. Its emblem proudly displayed under the window of the cockpit door.
