Joining overhead for the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's annual Auster Rally. We were an early arrival but you can see half a dozen aircraft already lined up along the grass Runway 09/27. Look close enough and you can also see an aircraft climbing out underneath and toward us on departure from Runway 18. The large hangar was fomerly the Drage Airworld museum, now home to warbird restorer Precision Aerospace Productions and the Pacific Fighters Museum.

It was shipped to NZ and reassembled at Ohakea, making its first flight there in Jan 1973. In June 1993 it was sold in Australia and shipped to Bankstown. It was stored for some years before being restored, and currently operates on warbird adventure flights out of Port Macquarie.
