Sold in Germany in June 2011 as D-FBBD, it was destroyed just a few weeks later on 10th July 2011 at Flying Legends after a collision with Skyraider F-AZDP.

The last proper landing of this aircraft. It was lost in a mid-air collision with Skyraider F-AZDP during the Balbo, the finale of Flying Legends later the same day.

VH-IVI arrived at Bankstown with a mustard yellow livery that was soon replaced by white with gold trim.

VH-IVI was registered in June 1969 to warbird proponent Langdon Badger. He sold it to Sydney businessman Ray Whitbread in September 1970. Whitbread was killed in it while practising aerobatics over western Sydney. The canopy detached and struck him, rendering him unconscious.

A68-198 was a photo reconnaissance version of the Australian built North American Mustang. It was sold as surplus in 1958 and acquired by Fawcett Aviation at Bankstown in 1962. Fawcett operated two Mustangs as target tugs but it was planned A68-198 would be used for aerial photography to take advantage of its camera ports. The work was never done and it was sold in 1966 to an Australian pilot who planned to fly it as a warbird. Defeated by bureaucratic opposition to warbirds, A68-198 was sold in the US. It was restored as N65198.

Built in Melbourne postwar by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation. After retirement by the RAAF, it was exhibited for some years in the Moorabbin Aircraft Museum.

CAC Mustang 21 ex RAAF A68-119. Owned by Raymond J. Whitbread who was killed when it crashed at Windsor NSW on 11.06.73.

VH-BOB was owned and flown by Bob Eastgate, who registered the aircraft in early 1976. Eastgate still owned the aircraft in 2017..

VH-BOY was initially operated by Fawcett Aviation (Illawarra Flying School) for target towing but had been withdrawn from use for several years when the picture was taken. Ex RAAF A68-39, it come on to the register in 1959. In 1979 it was sold in the US as N551D.

A former target-towing Mustang operated by Fawcett Aviation (Illawarra Flying School) in the 1960s. It had been A68-199 with the RAAF. In 1979 it was sold in the UK as G-MUST but returned to Australia in 2014 as VH-URZ.

VH-AUB first appeared on the register in 1958. With the official view opposed to warbirds it was cancelled in 1966. Times changed. VH-AUB was restored in 1980 and continued to be registered in 2017.

Formerly VH-WAS, which had been withdrawn from use at Bankstown in 1960. VH-AGJ was restored to the register in 1981.
