VH-BOY was initially operated by Fawcett Aviation (Illawarra Flying School) for target towing but had been withdrawn from use for several years when the picture was taken. Ex RAAF A68-39, it come on to the register in 1959. In 1979 it was sold in the US as N551D. This photo is copyright © David Carter, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
