A68-105 seen here between being moved from the Fleetwings service station at Werribee to the Moorabbin Aviation Museum.

Part of a small collection of aircraft at the Shell garage on the Princes Highway near the RAAF base at Laverton. A68-105 was purchased by Dick Hourigan in October 1964 and over the next 25 years was displayed at several museums. In 1990 work started on making the aircraft airworthy and it flew in 1996 as VH-JUC. -JUC was its military callsign in the 1950s when the RAAF used the VM- prefix. The RAAF dropped civil style callsigns in the 1960s and the -J** block of registrations was released for civil use in the 1970s.

At the time of the photo the privately owned A68-105 was displayed at the RAAF Museum. It was later restored by its owners as VH-JUC. Photographer not known.

Built in Melbourne postwar by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation. After retirement by the RAAF, it was exhibited for some years in the Moorabbin Aircraft Museum.
