This Alpha was most likely assigned to the A/1-111th AVN of the Puerteo Rico ARNG. The helicopter was allocated to BEST at Huntsville (AL) and offered for sale to US Gvmt agencies on 6 August 2018. It was then converted to UH-60A+ and left for the Afghan Air Force as 23269. After the Taliban took over the country in 2021, the Black Hawk was seen abandoned in Kabul. Current fate?

Arriving with a four star general at Arifjan. Within the bounderies of the massive base (that housed the command of the Combinded Joint Task Force of Operation Inherent Resolve) is Patton Army Heliport (OK2A). The 168 was built by Sikorsky as a UH-60A and delivred to the US Army in the early 199s. It was later converted to UH-60L and here seen, most likely assigned to the A/1-111th AVN of the Puerto Rico ARNG.

Flown by crew of the manufacturer Alenia, and marked with their titles as well as a medieval Spartan helmet with the US filling on its tail. Clearly, all for a C-27J sales tour. The 46 Brigata Aerea patch is also seen on the tail.

to AMARC 13 October 1989, got inventory code FP341 assigned. Moved for scrap to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) 9 August 2017. Seen here in its Egypt One color scheme at the huge platform of Bergstrom. In the back ground a lizard colored RF-4C of the 91st TRS is seen, while in the far distance a likewise camouflaged A-10A (serial 82-0664/MB of the 353rd TFS) with huge fuel tanks is parked. First noted with 2°Gruppo TM 46ª Brigata Aerea in July 1979, then moved to 98°Gruppo TM/46ªBrigata Aerea in late 1999. Seen stored at homebase Pisa-San Giusto from May 2003. Then noted as C-27A with serial 84025 for the Afghan National Army Corps (ANA-AC). The ANA-AC acquired eighteen former Aeronautica Militare G222s. In late 2012, the USAF decided to withdraw the Afghan C-27A fleet from service due to constant availability problems. C-27A 84025 arrived at Ramstein Air base (Germany) in March 2013. Current status unknown.

Built by Aeritalia-Alenia as G222RM (RM = Radio Misure). The G222 did not passed its service life unharmed. It was first damaged by a strong wind at Trapani-Birgi in February 1986, repaired. Then its nose was badly damaged by collapsing of a roof of an old RSV hangar at Pratica di Mare in December 2001. Not repaired, and withdrawn from use at Patrica iup to mid-2002. It bwas then dumped in the south east corner of the field by March 2003. Last reported as such in late 2008.

Serial F-027 in take-off from Eindhoven air base during a remote operations exercise. The Cameri FACO (Italy) built F-027 (FMS serial20-5656) is seen here with a recent modification, a roofbox. Not for cargo, but the box is housing the dragchute. The Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) is the second Lightning II operator using such a trunk, following Norway. F-027 was delivered to the KLu on 31 August 2022. From that moment, up to the moment of this photo, 313sq at Volkel owned it.
