Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ then to the museum in 1987. In the markings it arrived in. Later repainted.

The 66th Rescue Squadron (RQS) is based at Nellis AFB (NV) and operates some twelve Pave Hawks. The squadron, its crew and hardware are specialized in conducting the search and rescue and combat search and rescue missions. The 66th RQS is part of the 23rd Wing, based at Moody (GA).

Delivered to the USAF as 61-0854. Loaned to the Republic of China Air Force in 1970. Returned in 1976 and stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. To the museum in 1982.

The first of two which were built. First flew in 1975. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1979. To the Pima Air Museum in 1981. 53 is a Paris Airshow code and CX001 is its Davis-Monthan park code. Returned to flying status as N15YC in 1996. Damaged in an emergency landing at Palmdale in 1998. To Edwards AFB in 2008 and preserved.

The first of two prototypes built. It was Boeing's entrant into the United States Air Force's Advanced Medium STOL Transport (AMST) competition. First flew in 1976. Testing was completed in 1977 and it was returned to Boeing as N8730B. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1980. To the museum in 1981.

Rebuilt from A-26B 41-39378. Used for operations in Southeast Asia. Retired at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ in 1969. To the museum in 1974.

Delivered to the USAF on 16 August 1991 and assigned to the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron at Nellis. It continued with the 16th WPS, then 24th TASS, back to 422nd TES and last reported with the 64th AGRS. So the Fighting Falcon never left homebase Nellis so far.

Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1971. To the museum in 1972.

This F-22A Block 1 made its first flight on 12 Oct'02. It became an operational test and tactics development aircraft and was officially redesignated to F/A-22A on 17 Sep'02. The Raptor was assigned on 23 Oct'02 to the Dedicated Initial Operational Test & Evaluation (DIOT&E) program at Palmdale (CA). Was rebuilt to F/A-22 Block 10, started to fly with the Follow-On Test and Evaluation (FOT&E) modifications from Palmdale, was moved to the Night Air-to-Air Refuelling (NAAR)-modifications at Palmdale from Jul'05. The 5th gen jet was redesignated to F-22A on 15 Dec'05. Pictured here in Golden Hour

Built as a RC-135B. this RC-135V is returning in the late afternoon to Nellis, after supporting training flights over the Nellis ranges.

This F-16D was temporarily used as a trainer for the Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron. Marked with white surfacing (the position of the flags), white missile rails' on the wing tips, and a display circle (with 479 in it) on the intake, all used for perfect positioning during tight formation flying. In the back-seat a Thunderbird instructor is seen, while in the front seat a future Thunderbird pilot is likely evaluated by him. Strikingly, odd from the normal digits (1 to 8) in the display circle on the intake of a Thunderbird, this one is carrying 888 in it, so this is serial 92-3888.

Although carrying 421st FS markings and a Hill tailcode, this F-16 was destined for the 24th Tactical Air Support Squadron since June 2016. The 24th TASS was only activated in March 2018 at Nellis, several months after this photo was made. The TASS was already inactivated in May 2020. Its primary mission was to train forward air controllers (airborne) and joint terminal attack controllers in a seven-week course. To support the course, this F-16C carries a rocket launcher underneath its right wing.

Retired at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1985. To the Pima Air Museum on loan in 1988. Transferred to them i8n 1997.

Delivered to the USAF as an E-3B on 19 March 1981. First assigned to the 963rd Airborne Air Control Squadron at Tinker (OK), then moved to 961st AACS (as pictured) at Kadena (Japan), returned to Tinker, this time with the 966th AACS and later the 964th AACS. The Sentry was retired and stored at 309th AMARG from 3 August 2023.
